Victor Castillo is a member of Santos Elizondo since 2002 and specializes in criminal litigation. He has also advised clients on Civil, Commercial, Family, Amparo and Agrarian matters.
Victor Castillo has represented clients in both the traditional and the new accusatory/oral criminal system.
Victor has occupied the following public positions: (a) Local Representative (Diputado Local) for the LXIV Legislature of the State of Nuevo Leon, (b) Agent of the Public Ministry Investigator of the District Attorney’s Office of the State of Nuevo Leon, (c) Head of the Legal Department of the Center for Prevention and Social Readaptation “Topo Chico” and (d) Director of the Social Readaptation Center “Nuevo Leon”.
From November 2006 to the present date, Victor has acted as Deputy Director of the Facultad de Derecho y Criminologia de la Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, having a 32-year-old career as teacher of said institution.
In 1978 he obtained a Law degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, in 2001 he obtained his Master’s Degree in Criminal Science and in 2013 he received his Ph.D. in Law from the mentioned institution.
