El licenciado Garza Etienne ha sido socio en Santos Elizondo desde 2006. Su práctica se enfoca principalmente en las áreas de derecho corporativo, transacciones comerciales internacionales, adquisición y venta de empresas, financiamientos y reestructuraciones, incluyendo concursos mercantiles, además de tener amplia experiencia en el desarrollo e instrumentación de proyectos inmobiliarios.

Durante 2022 y 2023, representó a desarrolladores de parques industriales y clientes manufactureros y participó en la compraventa y/o arrendamiento de más de 20,000,000 metros cuadrados de inmuebles industriales en diversas partes de México.

Representation of several landowners in the negotiation and sale of more than 1,600 hectares of industrial land to a global electric car manufacturer for the installation of a new Gigafactory in the State of Nuevo Leon.

Representing foreign investors in the legal and tax structuring of an investment of approximately US$100 million for the development of residential buildings in Mexico City.

Represented foreign investors in the sale of shopping centers in different entities in the southeast, central and northeast of the country, in a transaction of approximately US$50 million.

Representation of investors in the legal and tax structure of a joint venture for a financial services firm in an operation of approximately US$100 million.

Representation of investors in the legal and tax structure of residential and hospitality developments in several touristic destinations.

Education

Mr. Garza Etienne graduated in 1997 with a law degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and obtained a Master in Laws in Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University School of Law. He studied in the Master in Finance program at the EGADE Business School of the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He has completed studies in Finance, Investment and Banking at Barry University in Miami, Florida, as well as an International Practice Seminar at the New York City Bar Association, New York.

El licenciado Garza Etienne es miembro y ha participado como consejero en el Inter-American Law Institute, Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C., Barra de Abogados México-Estados Unidos, Comité Estatal de Nuevo León del Consejo de Participación Ciudadana de la Procuraduría General de la República, Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, A.C.
